Susan Gulcher earned her degree from The Ohio State University and began her career in Production Management, working full-time in Operations for a video production company, then as a Producer and Coordinator, then a Production Manager for an Ad Agency.
With a desire to fulfill her artsy side and go freelance, she decided to concentrate on styling. Many times the only girl on set, styling skills were already on her docket. To expand upon her work experience in retail fashion, visual merchandising and theater, she took makeup classes in L.A. She soon became the Lead Stylist for a large photography studio, working with multiple retail clients and helping to grow one account to over $1M annually.
Today, Susan works in both still and motion recording - as a freelance Makeup Artist,
Wardrobe Stylist, and as a Photo/ Set Stylist. She remains an active Producer, connecting clients and networks to generate successful ad & web content, because yes, she still digs spreadsheets.
"I want the client to love what they see. I may posess an odd mix of talents, but I've been in this biz a lot of years and know the community well. I'm so lucky - I have traveled all over the country and worked with wonderful
(and some famous) people. I can't imagine a job without the activity and exuberance we experience in this biz!"
